Teaching artist
Through the Museum of Children’s Art in downtown Oakland, I had the opportunity of becoming a teaching artist pre co-vid. Working with third graders was challenging yet fully rewarding as I was able to create my own lesson plans, using my art and music to connect and inspire their ideas. This piece was painted live in front of board and Oakland Mayor Libby Schaff, and gifted to the Museum.
